Josephine Davis, 93, of Mulberry, AR, died Friday, March 29, 2013, in Alma, AR. She was born August 27, 1919 in Fern, AR to the late Galvin and Rhoda Edwards. She was a homemaker; and a member of First Baptist Church in Mulberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvie Davis; and daughter-in-law, Shirley Sue Davis.
She is survived by a son, Demus Davis of Mulberry, AR; a brother and sister; a grandson, Joel Davis and wife Jymebeth of Mulberry; and two great-grandchildren, Conner Jay Davis and Taytum Sue Davis.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at First Baptist Church in Mulberry, AR, with burial at New Cemetery in Mulberry, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Cunningham, Tim Wages, Joel Davis, Terry Fisher, Darrell O’Bar, and Randy Johnson.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
