Judith Lynn Lynn Young

Judith “Lynn” Young, 54, of Van Buren entered into the presence of her Lord on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. She was welcomed into Heaven by her father, Bob Underwood; her mothers-in-law, Margaret Goucher and Vada Young; her grandparents; and other loved ones and friends. Lynn loved to sing and had the most beautiful alto voice. She has indeed joined the Heavenly Choir. She was a member and attendant of Independence Freewill Baptist Church in Natural Dam. In her early years, she practiced as an LPN, and then spent more than 15 years at Unitog (Cintas). She enjoyed her time making candles and then working at the Western Arkansas Title Co. While she enjoyed her work, her favorite job was wife, mother, and grandmother.

She leaves to honor her memory, her husband of 34 years, Gary Young; a daughter, Jenifer Jones and husband Chris of Van Buren; a son, Dr. Chris Young of West Chester, PA; and her precious grandchildren, Baxter and Garyn Jones; her mother, Eva Baxter Underwood of Van Buren; two sisters, Sherry Miller of Van Buren, and Kaye Cox and husband J.D. of Natural Dam; a brother, Rusty Underwood of Chester; and brother-in-law, Bobby Miller; her nieces and nephews and their children whom she loved like her own, Mitchell, Crystal, Chris, Sara, Dan, Charlene, Joey, Rachael, Austin, Brayden, Kylan, Emily, Ethan, Gracie, Mason, and Maddie Beth; along with many aunts, uncles and cousins, and a host of precious friends too numerous to list.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Workman, Jerry Loggins, Johnny Wiley, Shane Evans, Tod Myers, and Dean Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be members and church family of Independence Freewill Baptist Church, also Trisha Bates, Tammy Standifird, Debbie Foliart, Alice Medlock, Teresa Graham, Lorna Brown, and Jannie Julian.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 24, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
