Judy Kay Philpott, 53, of Cedarville died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Tahlequah. She was born July 2, 1959 in Van Buren to David and Wilma Cook. She was a cashier for the Cedarville Dollar General. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Philpott; and her mother, Wilma Cook.
She is survived by three daughters, Karessa Haley of Rudy, Kim Johnson of Greeley, CO, and Josie Cowan of Cedarville; her father, David Cook of Cedarville; three brothers, David Wayne Cook, Jr. of Cedarville, Michael Cook of Van Buren, and Barry Cook of Alma; and eight grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Hall Cemetery in Natural Dam under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Ryan Cowan, Brandon Haley, Casey Johnson, Michael Cook, Barry Cook, and Cory Cook.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
