Kate Palmer

Kate Robertson Palmer, 99, of Alma, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. She was born March 23, 1917 in Stecker, OK to the late Berry E. and Maude Robertson. She was a seamstress for the Boston Store and W.B. Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Palmer, and a granddaughter, Toni Lovell.

She is survived by three daughters, Kathryn Mann and husband Jerry of Mountainburg, Jetty Price and husband Billy of Alma, and Cindy Arnold and husband Anthony of Alma; a son, John Lovell and wife Mary of Anderson, CA; a sister, Ruby Ellis of Sunnyvale, CA; five grandchildren, Mike Mann, Rick Mann, Randy Mann, Bob Mann, and Kelly Price; fourteen great-grandchildren; twenty-eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A family-hosted memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 5236 Hwy 64E in Alma. Ashes will be buried at Pope Cemetery in the Graphic Community. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
