Lucille L. Green, 94, of Alma, AR, died Thursday, February 16, 2012 in Van Buren, AR. She was born March 8, 1917 in Van Buren, AR. She retired from Garrison Furniture after 37 years and was a member of Alma First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Green and a daughter, Mary McKenzie. She is the last surviving of 9 Lovegrove children.
She is survived by a daughter, Delores Wallace of Alma, AR; two sons, Ray Green and his wife Barbara of Kibler, AR, Richard Green and his wife Mary Ellen of Corinth, TX; 15 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 23 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma chapel in Van Buren, AR with burial at Gill Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Wallace, Larry Wallace, Darrell Wallace, Tommy McKenzie, Ricky Green and Roger Green.
Honorary pallbearers will be the 9 granddaughters.
The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
