Marion Odell Bascue, 79, of Mulberry, passed away Friday, March 27, 2026 in Rogers. He was born October 11, 1946 in Mulberry to the late James and Minnie (Collins) Bascue. He served his country in the U.S. Army and was retired from Rheem. He was a huge Razorbacks fan, enjoyed bowling, and loved being outdoors.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, and six brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Jana Bascue of the home; two daughters, Veronica Bascue of Mulberry, and Crystal Podojil and husband Scott of Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Billy Jack Bascue and wife Gretchen of Midland; two grandchildren, Madyson Wadle (Luke) and Benjamin Podojil; one great-grandchild, Wilma Wadle; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Billy Jack Bascue, Luke Wadle, Benjamin Podojil, Mike Hoyle, Ted Hoyle, and Ronnie McCollum.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
