

Mickey Jay Stamps, 54, of Alma, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2016 into his promised life. He was born April 8, 1962 in Fort Smith. He was a retired realtor from Chuck Fawcett Realty of Van Buren. He actively served and attended Community Bible Church, Van Buren campus. He loved the Lord deeply and lived boldly. He held dear his faith, family and friends. Mickey never met a stranger and always had a contagious smile. He lived by the scriptural promise that His "(My) grace is enough".
He is survived by his wife, Samantha Stamps of the home; a stepson, Joshua Owens and wife Rachael of Spiro; his parents, Ted and Sandra Stamps of Muldrow; a sister, Sheila Ryan and husband Joe of Van Buren; a grandson, Mason Owens; four nieces, Chandra Palmer, Chelsea Harris, Channing Harris, and Rylee Ryan; and three nephews, Trey Nelson, Hunter Ryan, and Tyler Nelson.
A Celebration of Life will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Community Bible Church in Fort Smith with interment to follow at the Muldrow Memorial Garden in Muldrow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Keith Marrs, Harold Steed, Kelly Haley, Dubby Smith, Max Blake, and Greg Best.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Van Buren Community Bible Building Fund at 9201 Dallas Street, Fort Smith, AR 72903.
