

Paul "Butch" Capp, 70, of Rudy went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2017. He was born on June 8, 1946 to late Frank and Ora Mae Capp. He was an active member of the Oliver Springs Freewill Baptist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees and was an usher. He was retired from Bekaert Wire, and served in the Army National Guard. In addition to his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his only sibling, Frankie Capp Parrish, and his in-laws, Cleston and Wanda Arnold.
Butch is survived by his wife of 45 years, Sue Arnold Capp of the home; a daughter, Stephanie Johnson and husband Stacy of Ozark; and a son, Eric Capp and wife Sarah of Ozark. He was Papa to four grandchildren, Carrington and Kaylee Johnson, and Cade and Cambryn Capp.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2017 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Services will be led by brother-in-law, Tommy Wiley and Oliver Springs’ pastor, Buddy Loyd.
Pallbearers will be Tony, Todd, and Courtney Harris, Dennis Sneed, Carrol McClure, Tommy Bowen, and Craig Wahlmeier. Honorary pallbearers will be brothers-in-law, Alan, David, Ricky, Anthony, and Stanley Arnold, Oscar Parrish, Chuck Ewing, and nephews, Colton Arnold and David Parrish.
The family will visit with friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
