

Phillip Foster, 63, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born April 25, 1952 in Kibler to the late Roosevelt and Elgine Foster. He loved building stuff, and playing with his grandkids. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margie Foster; a sister, Becky Robinson; and two brothers, Burel and Michael Foster.
He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Livers of Stilwell, and Donna Ware of Fort Smith; five sisters, Linda Roscoe of Alma, Rose Gregory of Cedarville, Mary Thompson of Minnesota, Pam Thompson of Amarillo, TX, and Kelly Jones of Navarre, FL; two brothers, Bobby Foster of Altus, and Brian Foster of Mountainburg; four grandchildren, Phillip Richesin, Dakoa Greenwood, Miranda Richesin and Lindsey Ware; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 21, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Yoestown Cemetery near Kibler, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Sisney, Wade Sisney, Robbie Sisney, Bryson Foster, Travis Perkins, and Stephen Ware. Honorary pallbearers will be brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren.
