

Ray Milton, 82, of Alma, Arkansas, died Thursday, January 6, 2011 in Alma. He was born January 13, 1928 in Cass, Arkansas to Ernest and Opal Milton. He was a retired petroleum technician from Arkansas Oil and Gas Commission and he was the owner operator for 71 Roller Rink in Alma. He was a member of Alma Masonic Lodge #735, a 32 degree Mason, a Royal Arch Mason, a York Rite Mason, a protestant, and he drove the trolley in Fort Smith.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty Bolding Milton of the home; two daughters, Janice Milton of Alma, AR and Kay Hobbs and her husband, Ricky of Alma, AR; one son, Michael Milton and his wife, Yolanda of Barling, AR; one sister, Blanche Qualls and her husband, Paul Jerry of Van Buren, AR; 6 grandchildren, Holly Woodard and her husband, Saber of Fort Smith, AR, Sally Coble and her husband, Casey of Alma, AR, Keefer Milton of Barling, AR, Sarah Hobbs of Fort Smith, AR, Erica Linehan and her husband, Brian of Manhattan, IL, and Kristen Pierce of Plummerville, AR; 4 great-grandchildren, Aiden Coble of Alma, AR, Will Linehan of Manhattan, IL, Dylan Linehan of Manhattan, IL, and Braden Linehan of Manhattan, IL.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, January 10, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Chapel with burial at Highland Cemetery in Ozark with Masonic Rites under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Keefer Milton, Casey Coble, Eric Green, Ronnie Young, Barry Strevig, and Dennis Alley.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Alma Masonic Lodge #735.
The family will visit with friends from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
