Stephen Anthony Prado, 69, of Rudy, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Fort Smith. He was born September 30, 1953 at Camp Chaffee to the late Chris and Melba (Mooneyham) Prado. He was retired from Dixie Cup.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, James Prado.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Prado of the home; two sons, Edward Prado and Brian Prado, both of Fort Smith; a brother, Jack Prado of Fort Smith; and a grandson, Ethan Adkerson.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Old Union Cemetery in Hackett, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Allen Becker, Ralph Becker, Bill Clark, Clay Lemley, Brian Prado, and Edward. Honorary pallbearers will be Raymond Becker, Bob Chance, and Gary Phelps.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
