Terry Lynn Young

It would be wrong to say that Terry lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance looks like. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. She is now in peace and in heaven with her Heavenly Father and many loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rusty Young; father, Gary Word; mother, Betty Martin; sister, Diane Klohn; and grandmother, Audrey Word.

She is survived by her three children; daughters, Jennifer Robbins and husband Derek of Edmond, OK, and Felicia Reynolds and husband Kiley of Alma, and son, Cody Riddle and wife Kelli of Alma; six sisters, Pam Bass, Nicola Elam, Loretta Bromlow, Norma Morse, Becky McClellan, and Karen Vanclever; two brothers, James “Pete” McClellan and Paul McClellan; five granddaughters, Audrey Reynolds, Avery Reynolds, Ruby Robbins, Kimber Riddle and Campbell Robbins; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021 at the McRay Funeral Home, 110 South 8th Street, Chickasha, OK. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
