

Dr. Torsten Karl Seubold was born August 29, 1942 in Willimette, IL and went to be with the Lord, August 25, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Drs. Frank and Ruth Seubold and one sister, Dr. Ruth Anne Giffert. Dr. Seubold “Doc” is survived by his loving wife Ramona Seubold of the home, his Aunt Ethel Eatherly of the home; his son Dr. Joshua Seubold and his wife Elizabeth, his son Jonathan Seubold, and his daughter Jordana Beutelschies, and her husband Cody. He is also survived by two brothers Frank Seubold and Dr. Henry Seubold of Roland, OK along with many beloved aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Dr. Seubold was born into a family of chiropractors and was able to continue the legacy by working in the chiropractic field with great passion for over forty years. Doc Seubold recently was awarded by the Arkansas Chiropractic Association the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for having the longest chiropractic family lineage in the state of Arkansas dating back to 1911; for the duration of his chiropractic service he served on many boards and committees. Among his achievements, he furthered his knowledge of nutrition by getting certified as a nutrient pharmaco therapy wellness specialist. He had a great love for the Lord, which was evident by his wisdom and knowledge of the Word and taking advantage of every opportunity to share it with others. He was a charter member of Butterfield Assembly of God Church; He served many years in the Royal Rangers Ministry where he was known as “Commander Doc.” Doc also served in the Gideon ministry as chaplain and was a part of the Jail Ministry. Doc loved his family, friends, and many patients. Funeral services will be held at Butterfield Assembly of God Church in Van Buren Saturday, August 28 at 2:00pm with burial at Gracelawn in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday August 27 at Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, Arkansas. Pallbearers include: Dr. Hank Seubold, Frank Seubold, Wayne Thompson, Dr. Elliot Hays, Jared Richmond, and Darrell Hays.
Honorary pall bearers: Ken Hardcastle, John Lindquist, Jake Chambers, Schenk Seubold, Chuck Seubold, Dr. Morgan Seubold, Mark Davis, the Van Buren Gideon Camp, all local Chiropractors and Royal Rangers.
