

Victor Ruben Pinkerton, 60, of Cedarville, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 in Van Buren. He was born July 25, 1963 in Van Buren to the late Tom and Carmen (McKinnon) Pinkerton, Jr. He was a custodian for the Van Buren School District for 38 years, a local race car driver at Crawford County Speedway that won 7 Championships. He was in the Top 5 for 30 years of his 41 years of racing. He also spent time at Tri-State Speedway. Victor was a Little League basketball coach for Van Buren and Cedarville.
He is survived by his wife, Robin Pinkerton of the home; his twin sister, Virginia Pinkerton of Lavaca; two brothers, Tommy Pinkerton of Cedarville, and Shaun Pinkerton and wife Debbie of Cedarville; aunts and uncles, Teresa and Danny Hoover of Muldrow, and Elbert and Patsy McKinnon of Santa Ana, CA; and several cousins.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at Uniontown Baptist Church with interment to follow at Uniontown Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hoover, Danny Hoover, Tyler Mitchell, Chance Hoover, Vincent Overby, Mike Heinz, Kenny Henson, and John Ellison. Lee Henson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
