Lourdes Estela Samayoa

Lourdes Estela Samayoa was born in Guatemala in August of 1956. She grew up with her parents Fernando Samayoa and Estela Gutierrez de Samayoa as well as her younger brother Sergio Samayoa. During her teenage years, she emigrated to Los Angeles, California where she lived the rest of her life, becoming very proud of her new home and eventual citizenship in the United States of America. It was here where she met her husband Edgar Eduardo Turcios and gave birth to five children. Despite the many obstacles she faced throughout her life, Lourdes never lost her faith in God and always placed her children as her life’s top priority; her heart truly seemed to have endless love to give towards her belief and those closest to her. Having passed at the age of 68, Lourdes is survived by her five children Eddy, Marisol, Joseph, Edna and Jesseca as well as her grandchildren Zachary, Juliet, Angel, Kalanikai, and Zendaya.

A visitation for Lourdes will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Van Nuys, 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, California 91401. A rosario will occur Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 7:00 PM, 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, California 91401. A funeral mass will occur Friday, September 13, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Funeraria Del Angel Van Nuys, 5940 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91401. A graveside will occur Friday, September 13, 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at San Fernando Mission Catholic Cemetery, 11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills, CA 91345.
