Rosa was an amazing mother who loved her children and her family unconditionally, she was loving, caring and the most selfless person you could ever meet. May her beautiful soul rest in peace.
Rosa's youngest son Carlos Rodriguez goes on to say:
Anyone who knew the relationship between my mom and I, know it was unbreakable, and it was one of a kind.
Dear mom:
My rock, my best friend, my day, and my night. My everything.. our mom, and now our ANGEL. I LOVE YOU MORE THAN WORDS CAN EVER EXPRESS. The thought of not having you in our lives is completely surreal, and I still can't grasp onto the fact that this is reality. I'm going to to miss your morning kisses, and blessing before I left to work, calling you during my lunchtime at work, and calling you on my way home from work asking you what's for dinner?, I miss your voice, your laugh, and I just miss you COMPLETELY.
Rosa Linda Rodriguez was a VALIANT woman, she was an amazing human being with a pure soul. A woman who would do anything for anyone, especially for her kids. There was no limit to the love she had for us, or what she would do for us.
My mother unfortunately suffered from many illnesses for a long period of time throughout her life, however the only light i can see in this dark tunnel that I'm walking through...
is that she will no longer be suffering, no longer in pain, she's whole again. In addition to that. God decided he needed another Angel to take care of us, and knowing how much my mom did for us in life, I can only imagine how much she will do for us as an Angel.
Thank you mom, thank you for showing me integrity, for showing me compassion, for showing me and always encouraging me to follow my dreams and pursue my goals, but most of all. Thank you for showing me love has no conditions.
I promise you, I'm going to make you proud, I'm going to continue pushing forward as you would want me to, and be as strong as you were. Your strength is something I admire, and will forever admire, and will take that with me, that regardless of life's challenges, we have to continue to pushing forward.
I promise you, your legacy won't be forgotten. I LOVE YOU, this isn't "Goodbye" ... I'll see you later Mi Madre Santa
------------------
We Will Miss You Dear Mom
I just thought I'd say
I love you and goodbye
We will miss you dearly
I promise I won't cry.
I will never forget our talks
Conversations on the phone
How happy you were to see me
When I finally came home.
You worried so much about me
I worried about you too
I know this is the hardest thing
We've ever had to do.
I know you'll always be with me
Wherever I will go
No one needs to show me
I will always know.
I don't know what to do Mom
I never thought I'd loose you
Where I'll go from here
I still haven't got a clue.
I hope you'll watch over me
Be my guiding light
Giving me the strength I need
To win this endless fight.
You're my guardian angel Mom
Sitting on my shoulder
Whispering your words of wisdom
To use as I get older.
I don't want to say goodbye
But we'll meet again someday
We'll pick up where we left off
Before you went away.
