Vartan Shakilian, age 57, of Van Nuys, California passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021. Born January 31, 1964 in Armenia to Sima Pashayan and Zakar Shakilian.

Vartan is survived by their wife, Margarita Papazyan; father Zakar Shakilian and mother Sima Pashayan; nephew Gary Papzyan.

A funeral service for Vartan will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at St. Peter Armenian Apostolic Church, 17231 Sherman Way, Van Nuys, CA 91406. A graveside service will occur Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 3:30 PM to 4:00 PM at Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park, 10621 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood, CA 91606.
