Alexander John Earl Ferguson

Sunrise, April 12, 1990 – Sunset, February 9, 2013

We are saddened by the sudden and tragic loss of Alexander ‘AJ’ John Earl Ferguson. AJ had many friends at Squamish and Tsleil-waututh Nations and will always be remembered for his sportsmanship in hockey and lacrosse. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his mother Teresa Gus (Quinton) and father Andrew Ferguson; common-law wife Caroline George-Thomas; sisters Kollette Douglas (Justin), Jessica Baxter, Melita Gus, Sunshine and Trinity-Ann Waterworth; and brothers Danny Jr. and Angus Waterworth; nephew and nieces Christopher Baxter and Halaena and Kiarra Buron; aunts Jolynne, Georgina and Cheryl; and uncles Andrew and Trevor; AJ will be fondly remembered by In-laws Bill Thomas and Missy George and family.

As we come together in our time of loss a prayer service will be held at Tsleil-Waututh Community Centre, 3010 Sleil-Waututh Road, North Vancouver on Friday, February 15, 2013 at 7:00 pm and a funeral service will also be held at Chief Joe Mathias Centre, 100 Capilano Road, North Vancouver, BC on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 10:00 am.
