Anna Gabriella Tsakalos

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, wife, daughter and sister, Anna, who passed away peacefully in North Vancouver, B.C. on March 12, 2015, after a courageous fight with cancer. Born in Bari, Italy, Anna moved to Canada at the age of four where she lived her life in Vancouver, B.C. Anna will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her welcoming spirit and her deep passion for cooking. She loved going for walks, reading books, watching classic movies and being around others. Anna will be sadly missed and forever remembered by her children George and Christina, their father Perry, her mother Lina and deceased father Tony, brothers Cid (Eva) and Fred (Wendy), sisters Nuccia and Elizabeth, as well as, her many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Funeral services will be held at: St. Francis of Assisi Parish, at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20th followed by a Celebration of Life at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, B.C, from 11:30 AM to 2 PM, and Burial at Ocean View Burial Park at 11:00 AM. on Saturday, March 21st. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Shore Hospice Society.
