Joe, John, Mary - I am so sorry to hear of your Mum's passing.  I just heard today.  Your family has been part of my life for many years and still think of you when I am speaking with Jeff (in the Boundary Road house.) Your last visit to kuching 2 years ago was the most memorable one. Together with my nieces/nephews, mary n ivan , kiat khiong drove us to Damai beach resort in his school bus. we had so much to talk , recollect events etc .
later in the evening a dinner was given to all the close relatives n friends at a local restaurant by Choon, , Han ,  kiam Yun Sook n their families. i can remember vividly you went around the 6 tables "yam seng' with your signature voice and smile. 
Before you departed for home you asked me:hiong, when are you going to visit Vancouver again  for i have been to kuching 3 times "?. 
Sook Poh, you left us too fast and sudden but to a place where there will be no pain, sorrow, miseries , unhappiness and suffering.

My sis-in-law was one of the earlier pioneer who immigrated to Canada when i was about 12 year of age. Every time when we heard the ship blown the horn, we kids will said "Ah siaw coming back to Kuching from Brunei" Her courage living changes in Canada encouraged me and most of my elder bro and sis to come to Canada to live a life of life (born again Christians and more) May Jehovah God and His Son Christ Jesus remember her in THEIRS memories and resurrect her to rule in heaven or paradise earth according to her wish that Christ's blood purchased!
