

Obituary For Cassandra [Cass / Cassie] Sara Cain
A beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend, Cassandra Sara Cain left this world unexpectedly, March 2nd, 2022. Born in Brampton, Ontario May 15th, 1992, to Richard Cain and Sandra Scollay.
Cassandra was a lover of the arts and nature and enjoyed singing and listening to music. She was funny, outgoing, and vivacious, but she was also introverted and introspective.
Appropriately nicknamed the triple C “Classie Cassie Cain” by friend groups near and far. A sample of being courageous with resiliency and grace. She was fiercely protective of those she loved.
We will always remember her infectious smile, piercing blue eyes and caring personality. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed.
When you think of Cassandra, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
Cassandra was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Elizabeth Parsons and stepfather Ken Scollay. She leaves behind her parents Richard and Sandra, stepmother Susanne, brother Joshua; sister in-law Erin, grandparents, Garry and Patricia Cain; aunts, uncles, cousins and a community of friends who were also her family.
A Celebration of Life will be held more details will be forthcoming.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that a donation be made in Cassandra’s name to the North Bay Indigenous Friendship Centre where Cassandra found friendship, love and peace.
