It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Chung Yat Loo, a devoted husband, father, and cherished friend. Charles was born on October 14, 1946, in Shanghai, China. He passed away peacefully on October 30, 2024, in Vancouver, surrounded by the love of his family.

Charles’ life was marked by deep love and commitment to his family. He was a loyal and supportive husband to his beloved wife, Margaret, and a dedicated father to his two sons, Tyrone and Darren. Known for his generous spirit and unwavering devotion, Charles always put his family first, ensuring they are loved and supported in every way.

Charles had a true passion for cars and was an avid Vancouver Canucks enthusiast. He had a gift for making connections and striking up conversations with anyone, leaving a smile on their face. Charles’ warmth, kindness, and joy for life will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be forever loved and remembered.

A funeral service will be held on November 21, 2024, at Hamilton Harron Funeral Home. The viewing will begin at 10:00 am, followed by the service at 11:00 am. Family and friends are invited to celebrate and honor Charles’ remarkable life.
