Chui King Kwan

我們的好母親關黃翠琼女士1925年10月16日在中國廣東省台山出生，在鄉間長大及接受教育。1944年間與父親 關炳達先生結婚，婚後育有子女各一名。

由於早期鄉間生活艱難，先父先行到香港謀生。而母親亦於1954年後移居香港，先後誕下三個兒子。五六十年代香港生活非常艱難，何況係七口之家，

所以亦要攞些串珠仔，塑膠花等回家加工，以求幫補家計，但求令子女有所溫飽。愛子女愛家庭之情，難以回報。1974年6月父母移居溫哥華，初時在一間中餐館工作一段短時間。之後餐館因改建而結業，所以便在家照顧孫兒，以便兒媳們安心工作。母親照顧得各孫兒無微不至，到各孫兒長大。

母親係一個勤儉和藹可親及好客之人，亦都非常活躍。她經常與親友，鄉里鄰居等聚會。她的一生都貢獻家庭兒女，但如今情緣已了，希望她可以早日與父親相會，樂在天堂。
