Daphne Elizabeth Todd

Born in Newhaven, East Sussex England on Mar 18, 1930

Passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 10, 2013 in her home in Coquitlam

She is survived by her child Michael and his wife Eva

Grandchildren Jolena, Rachel and Leah

Great Grand children Makayla, Maya and Jaden

Her sisters Jean and Freda and many cousins who still reside in the United Kingdom.

Daphne married David Henry Todd (now deceased June 21, 2005) on March 8, 1952.

She graduated in 1967 at the City and Guilds London Institute Cookery for Hotels and

Catering Establishments. And preliminary Trade cookery in 1965 as well as Chichester College

For Catering and Home Economics.

She was a Military wife before becoming an hotelier with her husband David in Looe Cornwall England.

She immigrated to Haney, British Columbia on December 24, 1968.

She was the head chief at the Vancouver Golf Club until she became a bookkeeper for Woodward’s Department store. She finished her working career working with the mentally challenged.

In March, 1980 she represented Canada at the Royal Albert Hall in London England with the Health and Beauty Movement.

Her remains have cremated as per her wishes. There will be an announcement for her service once a columbarium has been chosen.

Daphne will be missed by all and we know she is with her loved one’s both in heaven and on earth.
