Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home in Vancouver, August 17, 2021.
Daughter of Muriel (1971) & Hugh (1994), step-daughter of Solange (1993), survived by her loving spouse Gene, brother Bill, sister-in-law Claire, sister Margaret, nephew Brad, & step-brother Mark; predeceased by her husband Dave (2004). Lover of sushi, Chopin and lively debates.
Elaine modelled compassion: always ready with a smile, a joke, or an encouraging word for anyone she encountered. “A smile is a warm welcome.”
We will miss her keen inquiring mind, gusto for life’s blessings, and her generosity of spirit.
