Elijah is survived by his father, Chris; his mother, Anne; his sisters, Avery and Annabelle; his grandparents, Daniel and Mary Go, Alfonso and Felisa Ching; his uncles and aunts, Alexander and Emily Go, Hans David and Corina Go; cousins Dylan, Ethan, Adrian, and Maddie. He loved his family very much. Whether it was spending time with them or celebrating special occasions, Elijah often expressed his love through thoughtful gifts for his parents and his two younger sisters—small gestures that reflected his generous heart.
Those who knew Elijah will remember him as someone who loved to help and who cared deeply for the people in his life. He was loving, attentive, and always willing to assist family and friends. Elijah loved children and would always take care of his little sisters and cousins. His extended family—grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins on both sides—loved him dearly and will carry his memory with them always.
Elijah had a wide range of interests and passions. He enjoyed sketching, joining music bands, cosplay, gaming, and immersing himself in the worlds of anime and storytelling. When he was little, he would spend lots of time making up elaborate worlds and stories while playing with his sisters and cousins. This creativity spilled into many of his drawings as well. He would passionately delve into the stories behind them, which were of characters and worlds completely made up or inspired by books and shows. He also had a fascination with medieval swordplay, bringing imagination and enthusiasm to the hobbies he loved. Something that remained constant throughout his life was his love for horses. Growing up, he did many impressive anatomical sketches of them, and he ended up working with horses later in his life. Elijah possessed a remarkable curiosity and a wealth of knowledge on many different subjects, often surprising those around him with the depth of what he had learned.
Elijah also had a natural knack for cooking and wasn’t afraid to experiment—once even working with rabbit meat in his culinary explorations. According to his partner, Rosi, he cooked amazing steaks. Elijah loved enjoying food as much as preparing them; he would often send photos of delicious meals he had just tried, excited to share the experience with others.
He took pride in his cultural roots and immersed himself in both Filipino and Chinese traditions. So strong was his interest that he took it upon himself to learn words in Filipino and Fujian (Hokkien), embracing the languages and heritage of his family.
Before Elijah’s struggles with anxiety, he earned several academic awards and was an accomplished musician, reflecting both his intelligence and his dedication to learning. Elijah will be remembered as someone who learned early how to navigate life with determination and quiet intelligence. Balancing the demands of work and home, Elijah approached each challenge with practicality and resilience. Rather than being discouraged by obstacles, he adapted, learned quickly, and made the most of what he had.
Elijah’s life, though far too short, was filled with love, creativity, curiosity, and kindness. He leaves behind a family who cherished him deeply and countless memories that will continue to live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him
