Ate Esther came to Canada to live with our family and our grandparents.  I remember thinking as a young girl, she was the coolest person.  She was the big sister I never had.  She was fun, caring, always laughing, and had such a big heart.  

When she moved to BC, and we came to visit, she took all of us cousins sight seeing and out to eat.  We had so much fun with her.  

We will always miss you Ate Esther and love you.   We will look back at all the memories and lovingly remember you.

I have many fond memories of Ate Esther. She is in my earliest memories as a child.  Always had a smile on her face.  Always caring for others.  She will be greatly missed. May you rest in in peace.  We love you! 

Tita Esther is a loving and caring aunt to us. She has a generous heart.  Tita  taught me how to be humble and be genuine in helping others. She’s always been good to us.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Ate Esther. I remember she always asked me whenever she sees me mowering the front & back yard how much she owes me & if I say nothing she'll insist to pay even for gas because she knows I will always decline.  She will watch me work and then she updates Kuya Matthew  when he was in the Philippines that  I was  taking care of the yard.

Ate Esther, you are now free of all the pain & problems and you are now with the LORD.

Tita may not be with us anymore but forever will be in our hearts. 

She has touched and inspired not only me but a lot of people for being dedicated and active in her duty as a Choir Leader.  

I couldn't even say thank you to her for everything she has done and taught me but I will thank her when we see each other in the Promised Land.

Bro Wenju, our hearts are with you during this time of great loss. Sis Esther was such a caring and genial person that her early passing is sorely felt by anyone who knows her. Our only consolation is that she's assured of her place in the kingdom we all long to eventually reach. May you find strength and comfort from the support of brethren and friends, but most especially from Our Almighty Father.

We are saddened by Ka Esther’s unexpected passing.  Brother Wenju we are thinking of you in your moment of sadness.  I know you and Ka Esther worked really hard and was looking forward to your retirement in Palawan because it is the only thing we talked about whenever we see each other before performing in the choir.  Even though she was unable to enjoy her retirement with you, you know she is at peace and now finished her race active and devoted in her service.  We are grateful for her leadership for so many years in the choir.  She will truly be remembered and missed.  Please accept our deepest sympathy to you and the whole family.

Wenju , Mamang , Gina and family we are very devastated about passing of our dear Friend Ester. It’s not easy to say goodbye to a very good friend but at least you finish your race... we gonna miss you.

       I am so saddened to hear the loss of Manang Esther, my heartfelt condolences, Kuya.  Remembering memories, you and Manang Esther were the first ones who had helped me the most when I was new in Canada and I am forever grateful for that.  May our Almighty God continue to give you the strength and faith in these trying times.

Ka Esther was one of those we met at the first week of our arrival here  in Canada  in 1997 and became  close friend and neighbor since then .  Neighbor in our   first apartment, neighbor  in our first  property and  their family are still neighbor currently  .  We witnessed her dedications  to her duty as a choir leader, and as a member and officer of the Church . Witnessed how she cared for  her husband , family and friends. 
You will be missed Sister Esther Herrera.
You were a neighbor since then and will still be a neighbor in the Promised Land. Till we meet again ! Love Sister Bing and Ed Joson and family! 

Dear Bro. Wenju,

This photo was taken on July 13th 2019, Bro Roger’s 50th bday celeb when you were in Palawan, Phils.  You were the topic of our convo back then, you and your projects back home, future plans, etc. Those were some of the happy times we had with her. She will be truly missed.

I know that nothing we say here will ease the sorrow you are experiencing of losing a loved one, but please know that we are here if its getting too painful to bear.  Be strong Ka Wenju, for the whole family and for all of us who loved and missed her.

I’ll never forget the moments that Sister Esther and I sang together at weddings. We’ll miss her. 

Dearest Matt and your family, we can never thank you and your dear Esther enough for the love and care that you gave Kerry while he was with you.  We were able to relax when he came to live with you and know that he would be safe and well cared for.  We did not realize at the time though,  just how much love you both would show him.  He always told us how comfortable he was in your home, and how much he enjoyed the outings and get togethers with you and Esther. Thank you!  We send our love to you, and to Esther for everything.  Neither of you will ever be forgotten!  Much love to you both from all of us in the Newton family.

We just want you to know that we feel your sorrow and pain. We are here for you my brother and may God’s love uplift you, His care strengthens you, and His blessings be with you while you’re recuperating.

Auntie Esther, we're not ready for your sudden death, I'm really looking forward to meet you soon when you come here in the Philippines, I was hoping to meet you after this pandemic, but we all didn't see this coming. I may not be expressive about my feelings but I really love and appreciate your kindness you showed and help you extended for our family.  Our family here in the Philippines will always love and remember you. You have a special place in our hearts, we will surely miss you. Rest in peace tita, we love you.

Ate Esther is my cousin and she used to babysit my sisters and when we were little children. I have fond memories of her while growing up, and I will miss her very much. I hope she enjoys the after-life in heaven and hope and pray to God that I see her there one day.  Rest in peace Ate Esther, I wish you love.
