Jean came to Canada in 1967. Despite not knowing English, she raised her 4 children by herself. She was baptized as a Christian in 2004.
Jean is survived by her children Julie, Gary, Joanne, David, and by 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother who touched our lives and those of others with her selflessness, kindness, warmth, politeness, and happiness.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff at Opal by Element and Edmonton General Continual Care Centre.
