Hanson lived his life to its fullest, with no regrets. He was a cheerful, kind, caring, thoughtful and generous man who always enjoyed the company of others. Hanson definitely loved treating his friends and family to dim sum or dinner to catch up, share stories and have a few laughs. He unconditionally supported, encouraged and provided guidance to not only his family but others as well.
Hanson was proud of his achievements in life and the adventures he went on. With little education and minimal knowledge of English, he moved his family to Canada in search of a better life. He was a hard worker who supported his family on his own. There was no task or challenge that Hanson was not able to overcome. He always provided his family with the best.
We are all very sad with his passing. However, knowing that he lived life with a positive attitude, he would have been the first person to tell us that everything will be ok, be happy and to continue to live our lives to the fullest with no regrets, just like him.
We shall celebrate Hanson’s life and all his achievements at a Service on October 25, 2021 at 9:00am at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel 1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver. Interment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park. Please RSVP if you plan to be in attendance to: [email protected] or [email protected] or [email protected]. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Paul’s Foundation’s Heart/Cardiac fund in the memory of Hanson Wan.
