Jaymi Claude Jacob Ducharme LeClair October 15, 1988 - August 16, 2021 It is with sad and heavy hearts we announce the sudden and tragic passing of our beautiful son, father, grandson, nephew, and friend, Jaymi Ducharme-LeClair. Jaymi was predeceased by his grandfather Rolly LeClair in 2014 and his fiance’ Christine. Jaymi leaves to mourn his loss his beautiful children and their families; his son Liam (15), his daughter Lily (12) his daughter Keilyn (13) and baby Donatello 2 1/2 years old.
Jaymi was so proud of his children and loved them dearly. He had big plans for the future with his children and he talked about them and felt very blessed to have them. Jaymi is also mourned by his Grandmother Helen LeClair who loved him dearly and was always there for him throughout his whole life. His Mother Claudia Ducharme and his brother Nathan Ducharme will miss him dearly as his infectious laugh, beautiful smile and sense of humour could see him through anything, he will be greatly missed by them. Jaymi has a foster brother Devyn who will miss him and Devon will always have the fond memories of when they were children and the bond they shared. Jaymi also had a person dear to him Bridget that he will be missed by as well. Jaymi will also be dearly missed by his Auntie Debby and Auntie Carolyn (Winnipeg) and his Uncle Rolly (Vancouver) and all his cousins and the rest of his family in Winnipeg and Vancouver. Jaymi will also be missed by his wonderful friend Sandra Taylor, who stuck by him and cheered him on throughout his life, if you want to know about Jaymi’s successes, just ask Sandra. Sandra knew him better than anyone.
Jaymi taught himself to play guitar and was amazing at it and another of Jaymi’s talents was his ability to draw. Jaymi was able to graduate from high school and was very proud of this achievement. Throughout his many struggles and successes the one thing about Jaymi was his laughter and his ability to bounce back. If you were able to sample his cooking you were very impressed because he was a chef like no other. Let’s all join together and honour Jaymi’s life and share his wonderful experiences and the loss of such a sweet soul. There will be a private family viewing September 7th, 2021 - 2:30 - 3:00 pm at Glenhaven Memorial.
