Growing up Jean lived in Toishan, Shanghai and Canton. She married Kiu Fun Louie in 1951. The young couple, with two young boys, sailed on an American President Line for three weeks from Hong Kong to Canada in 1957. Jean worked at Aero Garment as a skilled seamstress where she met many life long friends.

Jean was an incredibly caring wife, mother and grandmother. She always put family first. Full of love and kind gestures, her support for the family was everlasting. This gentle caring spirit will be missed by her family. She was proud of each and every one of them.

Her warm smile and unconditional love will be missed by all.
