To our dearest Koo family friends,

Our deepest condolences to the loss of your dad and grandfather. We are so sad at his sudden passing.

We've known grandpa Koo for many years and always enjoyed the chat we had with him. It was a pleasure to have known him. He was much loved by his children and grandchildren and all his friends. He will be missed at the many Koo family gatherings. His perpetual smile and attentiveness to his much loved grandchildren was his trademark.

I take comfort in this old Buddhist saying and I hope you do too.

Yesterday is a memory, tomorrow is 
a mystery and today is a gift, 
which is why it is called the present. 
What the caterpillar perceives is the end; 
to the butterfly is just the beginning.
Everything that has a beginning has an ending.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of Uncle Jerry growing up. He was always in a good mood and had a fun spirit. He will be missed.

Uncle Jerry was such a good man. I remember him always being happy and jovial - always with a smile on his face. Also remember all those times going to the PNE when we were little, giving us tips on what to do and see (he let us park at his house). He will be missed!

Jason, Allison, and Carson.  May your father rest in peace - He did a superb job raising you all, especially in the absence of your mother at such young ages.  He is truly a symbol if strength and fortitude, and there's a lesson many can take away from his story.

Allison Victor & I were deeply saddened to hear of your Dad's passing.  He was a tremendous help to both you and Zachery, Kandic & Victoria.  He loved you all very much but now he will be with his wife and your mother in heaven watching over you all.  
Victor saw your Dad going to pick up the Grandchildren just a few day's before he passed away.
He will be greatly missed by all.

I had the privilege of meeting Mr. Koo the first few years when I arrived in Canada over 20 years ago.  I remember doing his tax returns for a few years and was happy to let me know it went well without a hitch :):)...one Christmas he gave me $50 as Christmas gift same amount he gave his kids and Precy for Christmas.  I remembered Jason question him why i got the same and he just reprimanded Jason..ha ha haha...What i do remember most is how he treated Precy, my cousin like his own daughter and showed her how it feels to have a Dad in one's life.  Rest in peace Mr. Koo and happy reunion with your dear wife.  You did a great job raising your children.  God bless.

He was an amazing and fun uncle to have! Already i miss him, as I know others do. I'll always remember being scared yet fascinated by the basement fish! 
...wait... There were fish down there, right? O.o

I know dad feels the loss, but we know uncle is with his loving wife after a long time apart. :)

You must have been an amazing man to have raised such an amazing daugher. You will be missed! You surely were loved a LOT!

I would like you to know that I had the privilege of sitting with some of your Dad's buddies at the Service. After the Service, I was introduced to a couple of them. They spoke highly of him and will miss him dearly. I am honored to have known your father through them...Erwin C.

I was very honored to have attended your Dad's celebration of life.  Alison, Zachery, Candice and Victoria will always have a special place in my heart.  It was a beautiful ceremony which truly showed how much your Dad was loved. I hope with time, your hearts will heal.  Please let your Dad know that I will take care of Victoria while she is at school and that the Renfrew staff care about the Koo family.
