

Julian was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Cristina Licaros, and a proud father to his three children: Sidney Webster, Vance Nobel, and Irish Valerie. The family moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 1987, where their youngest daughter was born.
A distinguished electrical engineer, Julian graduated with honors with a Masters degree from the University of the Philippines, later earning his professional engineering designation while working with SNC-Lavalin. He transitioned to the U.S. in 1998, specializing as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He retired in 2016, returning to Vancouver to cherish his time with Cristina.
Beyond his professional achievements, Julian was a dedicated volunteer at his church, where he contributed as part of the cleaning crew and lent his voice to the choir, embodying his spirit of service and community.
Julian's sudden passing, attributed to an unexpected illness related to uremia, has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering support will be deeply missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Julian will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2024 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM, Viewing from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Corpus Christi Parish, 6350 Nanaimo St, Vancouver, BC V5P 4K7. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Corpus Christi Parish.
