Lai Yuen Kam

Lai Yuen passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Friday August 16th at St. James Cottage Hospice in Vancouver. Lai Yuen was born on Nov 11, 1940 in Hong Kong and raised in Tung Koon City in Guangdong, China. She was predeceased by her father, Cheung Po Wai and her mother, Wan Kam So. Lai Yuen is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by Joseph, her husband of 47 years, her children, Anna (Chris), Henry (Patty) and Cindy (Johnny), her cherished grandchildren Vanessa, Hayley, Nathan, Maddie, Megan and Avery, her siblings Lai Ha Au, Peter Cheung, Betty Young and Patrick Cheung as well as many extended family members and friends. We all miss her immensely.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the many dedicated health care professionals involved in her care and especially the staff at St. James Cottage Hospice for their kindness and compassion in her final days.
