Man Por Lee

Man Por Lee is survived by his wife Kau Yuk Lee of 54 years, sons Philip, Peter, and Steve, and grandsons whom he loved very much. He was a loving husband, caring father, and doting grandfather.

Man Por Lee loved to cook, and has worked as a master chef since 1957. He has once served members of the British Royal Family while he was cooking in Hong Kong. He was a well-respected chef who mentored numerous Chinese chefs spread across two continents.

He also enjoyed going on cruises, and trying lots of different foods with his wife.

A special thank you to the staff at Cottage Hospice in Vancouver for their loving care and support during his final days.

A visitation for Man Por will be held Friday, June 26, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Pleasant Universal Funeral Home, 306 East 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T2C6. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 306 East 11th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T2C6. A committal service will occur Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby, BC V5G3M1.
