With great sadness and heavy hearts, the family announces the sudden passing of Mark, a very much loved son, brother and grandson. He passed away in Vancouver, British Columbia on February 29, 2024 at the age of 15 years. Born on June 28, 2008 in Burnaby, British Columbia, Mark was the youngest of four siblings. The family will cherish all the memories shared during their 15 years with him.
Mark was a thoughtful and loving young man, always putting others first. Besides his friends and family, he loved working out. Mark’s aspiration was to become a fitness trainer or work in the sports medicine field. Mark may have looked tough, but he was a gentle giant who always wanted to help & mentor others. He held a special place in his heart for each and every one of his friends and family that he left behind in this world. Mark was incredibly loved and will be missed by many.
Here’s a poem that sounds like something Mark would have said to us all.
A LIMB has fallen from the Family tree that says:
Grieve not for me.
Remember the BEST TIMES,
the laughter, the song,
the good life I lived,
while I was STRONG.
