It is with heavy heart that we announce the passing of Matthew (Matt) Coenen. Matt was born in Eindhoven Netherland. Matt was Employed by Workers Compensation Board as Civil Engineering for many years.
Matt is survived by his loving daughter Johanna Coenen as well as siblings Theo Coenen, Ria Coenen, Ina Coenen and by his niece and nephew in Netherlands. He is predeceased by his loving wife Rosario. He is remembered by his genuine kind heart, his love for cars, his generosity, his humour, kindness and love for his family especially his wife who recently passed on.
Matt has also volunteered at the Rotary Club helping unfortunate people all over the world. Matt is also a member of the Vancouver Club.
Mass will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church 4451 Williams Rd. Richmond BC at 11:00 am on Wednesday, June 26, 2019.
Inurnment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery, 5455 Fraser St. Vancouver at 2:00 pm.
