Patricia Carole Clark

Patricia (Pat) passed away on March 30, 2025. She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Lando (Mike) and Janine Stickney (Bruce); six grandchildren: Samara (Tyler), Stephanie (Aaron), Mitchell (Natasha), Rebecca (Adam), Christian (Hannah), and David (Alex), and five great-grandchildren: Travis, Harlow, Audrey, Brody, and Lincoln.

She was predeceased by her husband Allan Wayne Clark in 2018.

Pat was born in Hanna, Alberta, and spent her childhood and teenage years in Powell River, BC where she met Allan. They were married in Vancouver in 1956 and spent the rest of their lives together in Richmond. Her favourite home was on Quilchena Golf course where she and Allan entertained their friends with many fun pool parties.

Pat always wanted to become a Flight Attendant and was hired in the late 70's but was unable to relocate to Alberta. She and Allan travelled the world together and had countless adventures in faraway lands; however, her favourite destination was Hawaii. She loved Honolulu and Turtle Bay.

Pat was an accomplished Bridge player and played every week up until last year. She was also an avid reader and borrowed hundreds of books from the library. She loved cats and had many feline pets over the years.

She had a great sense of humour. When she laughed heartily, her true self was revealed. Pat had an eye for fashion and was stylish in her outfits and was put together with her hair and makeup. She did some modelling well into her sixties and enjoyed many fun times at various fashion shows.

She had a BIG love for her daughters and their families and was always interested in what everyone was doing.

Patricia had great determination, perseverance and remarkable grace until the end.

Where there is deep grief, there is great love.

Cynthia and Janine would like to acknowledge and thank nurses Lindi and Paul at Peace Arch Hospital, 6 North, as well as Dr Christopher Wong from Seafair Medical for their outstanding care and compassion towards Patricia.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the SPCA in memory of Patricia.
