A kind and gentle soul has left this world to reunite with her husband Harold Yates, and parents Erroll and Doris Gillis. Ever private, Patricia seldom spoke about herself, however she was not shy in expressing her love for her garden and her special friends – Estelle, Mary Lou, Pam, Virginia, Bernina and cousin Olive.
One of Patricia’s favorite moments occurred in 1944 when she was given the honor of being crowned District Queen of Dunbar/Point Grey.
We wish to extend our gratitude to the caregivers, nurses, staff and Dr. Marhin at South Granville Park Lodge for their dedication and compassionate care. Belinda, Rhodora and Ronnie went that extra mile to bring smiles to Patricia each day.
No service by request, however a donation to your local SPCA in Patricia’s name would be appreciated. She loved her animals dearly.
