Peter Lo

Born – April 19th, 1936 Canton, China.

Passed away – August 10th, 2014 Vancouver, BC.

Age – 78 years old.

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Peter Lo after a long battle with strokes for over nine years. Peter passed away August 10, 2014 at the age of 78. He will be greatly missed by his devoted wife Betty.

In 1974 Peter immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia from Hong Kong. Peter married Betty in 1981, Vancouver, BC.

Peter Lo’s background includes a commercial loan officer with the Bank of Nova Scotia, a stock broker with C. M. Oliver, President and C.E.O of Asian Canadian Resources, Tako Resources and Norsemont Mining, a publicly traded company in the Vancouver Stock Exchange.

Peter was known for his quick humour, good nature, positive character, love of good food and generosity to others.

The Funeral Service will be held on August 19th, 2014 at St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church on 5251 Joyce Street, Vancouver, BC at 10:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, the wife requests that donations be made in Peter’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukon, 1212 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V2 (604)-736-4404.

Burial will be at Ocean View Burial Park, 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC.
