Polly will be dearly missed by all who knew, loved, and admired her warmth, generosity, quick wit, kindness, and her passion for knowledge, hard work, and education. These qualities informed the wonderful accomplishments that marked her life.
Polly was born in India where she completed degrees in Economics, Teaching and Law before meeting her husband Dara. They began building their family of four in Tanzania, Africa and later moved to Canada. Polly taught high school, nurturing students with her zeal for learning. This respect for education molded many of her students’ futures and encouraged her children and grandchildren to pursue their dreams.
To the end, her love for her family knew no limits. She was unfailingly proud of each of their achievements and the loving families each in turn has built.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of all who knew her.
