

Rex was born on November 2, 1961 in Hong Kong to his parents, Yee Wun and Sau Kau, and older siblings, Chui Kuen, Pak Kuen, Ping Kuen, Siu Cheung, Siu Kwan, and Siu Ngok.
After Rex graduated from Shau Kei Wan Technical School in 1980, he went on to study mechanical engineering at Morrison Hill Technical Institute, where he was awarded the City and Guilds of London Institute Mechanical Technician Certificate in 1984. During his studies, he worked as a Draftsman at Gemini Electronics Ltd. and at Wong's Electronics Co. Ltd. After graduating, he was promoted to Mechanical Engineer at Wong's Electronics, kickstarting his career in engineering. Within 2 years, he worked his way up diligently to Senior Mechanical Engineer at Astec International Ltd. In 1988, his charismatic personality and strong organizational skills allowed him to switch careers into management, where he worked as a Sales Manager and was promoted to General Manager at Chung Tai Printing Co. Ltd.
In 1993, Rex immigrated to Toronto, then Vancouver, with his family to provide better opportunities for his children, Jason and Sheryl. He spent many weekends with his children growing up, going to arcades in Metrotown and trying new restaurants around Vancouver. He had fond memories of traveling to Banff with his siblings and showing them around Granville Island when they came to visit. He also enjoyed his memories with his second wife, Liqun, with whom he travelled back to Hong Kong to visit family, the Great Wall of China, and other areas throughout China. He will always be remembered by his family for his easygoing and carefree spirit, as well as his ability to pick the best fruit.
Throughout his time in Canada, he had a vibrant social life with many close friends and colleagues at Fresh Direct Produce Ltd., where he worked his way up to the Quality Control Supervisor. He was well-liked and respected by his peers, who spent decades by his side. He enjoyed going for dinners and work events, as well as playing mahjong with his friends. His work and social life were a great source of happiness and support throughout his life in Canada.
Rex was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his siblings and children.
A visitation will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver, BC, V5L1T3, CA, on April 16, 2026, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. He will be cremated and buried at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

少飛是 1961 年 11 月 2 號在香港出生,父母是周怡煥同唐绣球,姐翠娟、白娟、平娟、兄少章、少鈞,少岳。
Rex於1980年畢業於筲箕灣工業學校後,繼續在摩利臣山工業學院攻讀機械工程,並於1984年獲得倫敦城市及行會機械技師證書。在學期間,他曾在雙子電子有限公司及黃氏電子有限公司擔任製圖員。畢業後,他被晉升為黃氏電子的機械工程師,開啟了他的工程職業生涯。兩年內,他憑藉勤勉努力晉升為艾斯特國際有限公司的高級機械工程師。1988年,他憑藉其有魅力的性格和強大的組織能力轉行進入管理領域,擔任銷售經理並升職. 他在中大印刷有限公司擔任銷售經理,後晉升為總經理。
