It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rob. Predeceased by his mother Bery, Rob is survived by his wife Cheryl, daughter Michelle(Jim), son Brent and stepsons David, Michael and Darren, Sister Leanna(Phil) and the mother of his children Viv. Also missing him is his little dog, Dolly. Rob had many friends at the city of Vancouver Sanitation Department where he worked from 1986 until he retired in 2009. Rob’s passion was always cars. He spoke often of his friends at Mission and Ashcroft raceways, where he Loved racing his 1966 Acadian. Rob was known for his love of music and love of a good party. Rob was a sentimental man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. One of his favorite sayings was “No one gets out alive.” A Celebration of Life will be held November 18 at 4:00pm at the Slovenian Society Hall, 5762 Sprott Street, Burnaby, BC.
