On Tuesday October 19, 2021 at 8:30am Roya Wakeland, a loving wife and dear friend left us. In her final moments she was surrounded by loved ones. In life, Roya was a constant traveller. She often convinced her husband Jerome, her sisters, and many friends to take long trips on short notice. She was fiercely loyal, the many people that she loved were blessed to share the deep connections she created and she will remain in our hearts for eternity. Roya is survived by her husband Jerome, her extended family including mom Atefeh Mirzataghikhan and dad Razagh Rahiminia, sisters Roshanak, Mitra, and Mandana, in-laws Peter, Mellanie, David, and Ann, as well as nieces and nephews Tina, Dom, Sam, Danielle, Bahar, Nika, Markley, Amir Ali, Shayan, and Amir Mohamed.
