Departed peacefully on January 26, 2017. Jack was born in Cobble Hill, B.C. on January 21, 1919. Predeceased by his angelic wife Arline. Survived by his devoted children Allan (Barbara), Jackie, Leanne (Gord), Bryan (Michelle), and “adopted” son Bryan Mah; ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and his many beloved relatives and friends. A special thank you to the caring staff at Holy Family. Jack was a strong and generous spirit who was always happy to extend his warmth and friendship to everyone who crossed his path. His devotion to his loved ones and his openhearted approach to life serve as inspiration to all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 5:00 – 7:00 pm and service to be held on Thursday, February 16th at 12:30 pm, both at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 East Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Reception at Pink Pearl Restaurant at 4:30 pm.
