She was born in China, lived in Macau and Hong Kong before settling in Vancouver in 1972.
She is survived by her husband Yuk Kwan, children, Amy(Tian), Sandi(Swanson), Fred(Sandy)and Helen(Starri), nephew, Derek(Maggie), grandchildren, Aaron(Iwa), Randi(Kevin), Westley, Justin, Melanie, Griffin, Joelle and Clara, plus great grandchildren, Alicia and Sophie and many cousins. She was predeceased by her 6 brothers and sisters and her son Howard.
Sau King was a wonderful loving wife, mother, sister, auntie, friend and an extraordinary dim sum chef.
She will be sorely missed.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E Hastings St. Vancouver, British Columbia, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 12:30pm. Internment will follow at 2:45pm at Ocean View Funeral Home & Burial Park, 4000 Imperial St, Burnaby, British Columbia.
