Scott Thomas Forbes

The Forbes family is devastated to announce the sudden passing of Scott Thomas Forbes in Vancouver on September 15, 2022 at the age of 41. He leaves behind loving parents Tom and Joan (nee Harshaw), sisters Kaleigh and Angie, nephew and nieces Hayden, Harmony and Melody, grandmother Grace, many uncles, aunts and cousins. He was predeceased by grandparents Don and Gwen Harshaw, Ron Forbes, and sister Amanda.

Scott was born in Kirkland Lake on April 25, 1981. He grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Huntsville, Baysville, and Bracebridge. He was a talented athlete and loved watching hockey, football, and baseball. After his school career he moved to British Columbia and spent over a decade planting trees and then cooking in restaurants. He is remembered by many family members and friends for his work ethic and his humour.

No funeral or celebration of life is planned at this time. Cremation has occurred and he will be interred in Bracebridge. In lieu of flowers consideration a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or the charity of your choice.
