He was adopted by parents Butch and Ruby Cassidy and spent his youth years in Prince George British Columbia.
Sid had an interest and love for music that led him to a career as an audio engineer with everyone from local Urban Coffeehouse gigs to The Tragically Hip and Keith Urban. Sid passed August 7, 2023 after a long illness.
