Family is the number one value in my life. I grew up surrounded by a big, loving family, with many cousins, aunts and uncles. The Woo sisters are my closest and dearest cousins and have been an important part of my life since the day I was born. 

I have never lost someone so close and so important to me as Susan. I have never felt this sadness or felt this emptiness before, but it's even more difficult to see my loved ones around me feeling this way too.

I am comforted to know that Susan is no longer in pain. I am happy to hear that she was surrounded by our close family in her last days. I am touched to read all these warm words from the many people who cared about Susan too.

Susan, I am sorry I didn't come home sooner. I just hope you know how much I miss you, how much I love you, and how much I cherish my memories with you. We'll always be family.

With deep sadness and a heavy heart we wish God Speed to our friend, Susan Woo. Our condolences to the Woo and Mah family. Sue will be greatly missed and we will forever cherish her memory.

What I remember about Susan..

I have known Susan for more than 8 years in the IT Dept. of London Drugs. She always shared positive energy, a great smile and laugh.

Last year, while shopping at Esprit on Robson St., I saw Susan and decided to surprise her with “Can I help you?”. She clearly ignored me by avoiding eye contact and thinking I was a sales representative! It was quite funny! I then found out later that she did indeed avoid sales representatives. 

Susan’s positive energy and great laugh will be missed.

I am was a co-worker of Susan.  I am still shocked by Susan's passing. 
 
My Memory
I always would stop and listen to her stories. (she had many).
 
I personally will miss her smile and just Susan walking down the hallway stopping to give me a laugh when needed. 
 
She helped me through some really tuff moments. She talked me into staying with London Drugs, If it were not for her I would have quit working here years ago. When ever I feel so bad about things I remember that conversation and then I move forward. (She was so gentle and kind to take time out for her day to help a co-worker suffering as I was.) I will always love and will miss her.

Dear sweet Susan,
 The service last weekend for you was done beautifully - your family loves you so much.  My heart broke watching your four very special nephews and knowing how much you loved them and how much they will always love you.

I have known Susan for the entire time she worked at London Drugs Head Office.  We worked together in the same Department, Information Technology. Susan was sweet, genuine and a very bright light in our sometimes busy world.  

I know she loved her nephews so very much and would talk proudly about them frequently - what sports they were involved in, school and things like that. She also knew how much I love my little son (who is 8) and would often give me a 'treat' to take home to him. I always told him when I brought it home that my special friend at work, 'Susan' gave me the treat to give to him and always reminded him how very thoughtful that she was to do that for him.

I will miss our conversations, her beautiful smile and her many, many thoughtful qualities.  

Susan - you will live on in so many ways in many people's lives for all the wonderful things that you have done and for all the beautiful memories that we will now cherish.

I met Susan 2 1/2 years ago at yoga - she was warm and friendly and we became good friends in and out of the studio.  She was truly an inspiration with her physical and mental strength.  Her yoga practice brought her great joy and she brought a great energy to the yoga studio.  She definitely mastered "living in the present".  She will be dearly missed - "remember you are not your body" - her spirit will live on within the hearts of her family and friends.  My deepest condolences to the Woo family

Words cannot even begin to express our sorrow. Although we do not know Susan very well, we did hear that she handles difficult situations with grace and poise.   

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Woo Family. May your family take comfort in knowing an angel is watching over you each time a candle is light.

I don't know Susan as well as some of you but when I spoke with her last year, she spoke about yoga with passion, how important her family was to her, and the happiness her friends and families brought to her.  She did not dwell on her illness.
That conversation caused me to think of a quote by Albert Einstein,  “There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as if everything is a miracle.”  I know Susan lived every day of her life like it was a miracle.

Susan, you are so beautiful.  We love you, Susan.

My deepest condolences to my cousins Jean, Helen and my fourth Auntie and Uncle.  Susan will forever live in my heart. I will always cherish the childhood memories that I have of her. Susan, may you rest in peace.

I would like to express my sympathy to Susan's family and friends. As Susan's Yoga teacher I was touched by her strong spirit, her dedication to her practice and her open heart, and I know that many of her fellow Yogis were inspired by her.

My thoughts go out to your family during this difficult time and I send my deepest sympathies. May your memories give them strength.
I really got to know Susan in Grade 9 Foods. She went on to develop her culinary skills and was always willing to share her knowledge of all things food.  She always managed to get a laugh out of me with her stories.  Susan, I’m grateful to have known you and I will miss your humour and witty banter.

My deepest condolenses to the Woo family for the loss of someone so dear as Susan. Susan was a kind and caring woman who always had a hello and a smile for everyone. She will be sadly missed, but now she is at peace and no longer suffering. It was an honour knowing her. RIP Susan
