Thomae Karajordanides

It is with deep love and sadness that the family of Thomae Karajordanides announces her passing on November 8, 2025, at the age of 90.

Thomae lived a long and meaningful life, surrounded by family, friends, and a community who cherished her deeply. She will be remembered for her laughter, warmth, strength, and a generosity of spirit. Qualities that touched everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her loving husband, George Karajordanides; her devoted children Maria (Tony), Stan (Allison) and Dimitria (Mike); and her beloved grandchildren Georgia, Sophia and Matthew who brought her endless joy and pride.

Thomae leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and resilience that will continue through her family and all whose lives she brightened.

We would like to extend our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful staff at New Vista Care Home. You cared for our beloved mother with such tenderness, dignity, and love, as if she were part of your own family. Your selfless compassion brought us great comfort, and we will always be deeply grateful for everything you did for her.

May her memorial be eternal.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 20th at 11:00 am at St. Nicholas and Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4541 Boundary Rd, Vancouver, BC.

Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, at 3789 Royal Oak Ave, Burnaby.
